Abraham Begay (Navajo) was born on October 1, 1953 in Ganado, AZ. He has been active in making traditional and contemporary jewelry from 1976 to the present where he currently resides in Flagstaff, AZ. He has won numerous awards at the Indian Art Show in Santa Monica, Ca; Native American Festival in Great Falls, MT; and Red Earth in Oklahoma City, OK.
