Frank Patania Sr. was a renowned Italian born designer who came to the US in the early 20th century. He found his inspiration in the blending of European and Native American aesthetics. Patania pieces are hard to come by and can be found in many museum collections including the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery in Washington D.C.
