Jesse Robbins was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona. He learned how to manipulate silver and cut his own stones from his Prescott mentors Randy “Bubba” Shackleford and Jock Favour. Under Bubba’s Tutelage, Jesse learned the traditional method of tufa cast hand wrought jewelry. Starting with scrap sterling, or coin silver, Jesse melts and casts a tufa ingot. From this ingot Jesse Pulls inspiration from his travels as an archaeologists throughout the American Southwest to create wearable works of art.
