Larry Vasquez was born in Silver City, New Mexico on April 15th, 1947. Larry is a descendant of Aztec, Apache, Mayan and Muscalero. He started his career making jewelry in the early 1970’s. Larry hand rolls all of his own beads and is one of the finest bead makers of his time. In 2002 his work was in the exhibit Jewels of the Southwest at the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture in Santa Fe, NM. Today, Larry works primarily in gold using fine gemstones from around the world.
